First day setup

The safest order for setting up BoardStack when your board is new to the product.

Start with the board basics

Before adding financial details, make sure BoardStack knows the community name, state, and who on the board should help.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Confirm the community name and two-letter state code.
  3. Invite the treasurer, secretary, or another board member.

Use the dashboard checklist

The dashboard is your home base. It shows the first important tasks and lets you mark them complete as the board finishes them.

  1. Import the homeowner roster.
  2. Add reserve fund information.
  3. Review compliance requirements.
  4. Create the first dues batch.
